Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - These Actors provided a Great Movie
Two of the HOTEST!!!! African American actors in Hollywood today star in this romantic comedy. Vivca A Fox and Morris Chestnut do a great job of making us believe that they are in committed couple trying to find their way through the maze of the battle of the sexes game. It's a light treat with minimum heavy drama. Another good slice of American pie about upper middle class African Americans dealing with love and life relationships. A Anderson gets excellent screen time as Chetnuts' friend, which he works. The supporting friends of the Fox character (Shante Smith) are lead by Monique with W Robinson and T Jones used as background filler. Gabrielle Union has a bit part as the arch enemy of Fox and as usual she can lights up the screen as an original diva would when entering a room, this girl is bad. Chestnut as (Keith Fenton) allows us to take a glimpse into his comedic talent which compliments his so well defined dramatic acting. Fox carries the movie just as she was expected to and she does it with out flaws. This movie is an improvement on M Brown's first movie "How to be a Player", but has a similar feel with the main character talking to the audience. It is definitely worth at least the matinee price to see the actor strut their stuff in this new scene.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - In Order To grasp this concept you got to think like them!
Two Can Play At That Game is a very interesting movie. Whoever says this movie isn't funny hasn't been in a relationship before. Point Blank. Through each characters strategic tactics I see myself. I say holdup hold up ...I ve done that before. Anthony Anderson basically makes this movie though. This man is too funny. He emphasizes the important words in the sentence to get his point across and his voice makes it hilarious. This is his best acting performance. Vivica Fox gives women a few unnecessary pointers ( from a man's perspective at least ) but she does keep it real. Morris Chestnut does excellent as well. The movie is fast paced as Vivica Fox and Anderson each play their cards at the situation they are given. They play it like a chess game and the 'rules' are funny at times. The girlfriends (Tamala Jones, Wendy Racquel Robinson and MoNique )really act like real friends and they have good chemistry together. The movie wasn't too long and didn't bore me to death as most love stories do.

When I first saw it I couldn't really understand why Morris Chestnut was moping around. 'I'm not gonna call, I already called twice, can't be desperate" lol. I was like man if you don't quit b!tchin...But then I remembered that Vivica Fox is finer than a mutha. I'm surprised he didn't cry. Shante takes him through a grueling three day process where she hardly even speaks to him and breaks up with him. The only useless day was day six. There was no purpose for it. The funniest part is at the end when she expects him to be at her house waiting on her with flowers. I could have told her beyotch please that aint gonna happen. And then when he didn't show it was just hilarious. I was like "ahhh that shhh didn't work" and then five seconds later she's like "I know what ya thinking...the shhh didn't work" By then I was on the flo rolling. It was so funny.

The good thing about this movie is that actors really seemed like they enjoyed playing the roles. The movie is fast, fun, lighthearted, and entertaining. A nice classic chill out movie. The narrating didn't bother me at all. I recommend seeing this film.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good Movie
Two Can Play That Game features the oh so sexy Morris Chestnut and Vivica A. Fox. This film is a comedy about the games men and women play in a relationship and the rules each sex believes they are supposed to abide by in a relationship. Two Can Play That Game reflects the real-life drama of how to react in situations that develop in a relationship and whether or not one should get advice from one's know-it-all friends, (Tamala Jones, Wendy Racquel, Monique, and Anthony Anderson). The characters are all intelligent and professional African Americans, which is a change from what Hollywood usually displays. This movie will keep you laughing and will have you saying, "ain't that the truth" and have you thinking "damn, that's good." This is a great purchase.
